How to Get Smoky Eyes
One of the latest trends in makeup is smoky eyes. It is when you create a dark, blurred eye shadow that makes your eyes look more intense. This technique gives you the opportunity to show off attractive and seductive makeup in minutes. At OneHowTo we'll teach you how to easily get smoky eyes.
To start, you need to prepare your eyes for makeup. Wash your face and apply a little pressed powder on your eyelids to serve as a base.
It is essential that you apply a layer of loose powder under your eyes as it will help the shadows to not make the rest of your face dirty. Instead of making your face dirty, any stray makeup will just fall off.
Apply the colour that you're going to use for your line of eye shadow. You need the line to be seen, so apply as much as you think it's necessary.
Any colour can be used to make a smoky eye, so just choose the one you like. You can choose the colour of the shades depending on the colour of your eyes, to create a more striking effect.
On your upper eyelid draw a thick line joining the eyelashes below.
It is time to apply the shadow. Use a sponge or brush to go over the line you previously drew around your eyelashes. You can also put some on the lower lashes.
Now blur the shadow over the eyelid, starting from the inside and moving out. Remember that you need the colour to fade as it moves out. Use very little shadow. You don't want it to be too much.
Put some shade at the bottom of the eye, applying whatever touches are necessary.
Now combine the shadow with outward movements, making the shadow fade out.
Clean any remains of makeup around your eyes carefully and there you have your smoky eyes.
Applying makeup doesn't have to be difficult, however, there are many things to take into account when doing our makeup as not every shape and face looks good with everything.
