What do you need to shape and fill in your eyebrows?

The key product is an eyebrow pencil that will serve to define them accurately, filling those gaps with sparse or thinning hair and giving them the thickness that you're looking for.

It is very important to choose the eyebrow pencil well, because it should be the same shade or very similar to your hair tone. If in doubt, choose a shade that's slightly darker than your hair. The fill-in pencil should also be of good quality so that the color remains intact for some time. You do not want to be tweaking your eyebrow make-up wherever you go, so it is best to opt for known cosmetic brands.

Triangular eyebrow pencils are more precise, but those that look like normal pencils are easier to use and create softer results, which is better if you're a beginner. Most eyebrow pencils come with a soft small brush on the other tip, which is really useful.

In addition to the eyebrow pencil you will also need other tools such as a specific brush for eyebrows, a cleansing lotion for eye makeup and a cotton pad.

When you have all the necessary materials, sit in front of a mirror and get to work!

First, brush your eyebrows so that all the hairs are in the right place. Take the pencil and put it to one side of your nose in a straight, vertical position with the tear duct as reference. This is point A, where you should start the eyebrow. Make a small mark.

In the same way, keeping the pencil at the nose, move it diagonally to the outer corner of the eye, which is where the eyebrow should end. That is point B. You can look at the proportions shown in the picture to see it clearly.

Point C follows the line from the nose to your pupil, and it marks the highest point of the eyebrow arch.

Now that you clearly have the start and end of your eyebrows, you should create the outline with the pencil starting with the inside edge moving to the outside. It is important to follow the natural growth of your hair as you go through filling in the gaps with short small lines to get a natural look.

To get perfectly groomed eyebrows you only need to apply some finishing touches. If there are any small blemishes or marks around your eyebrows, remove them with the help of a cotton pad soaked in make-up remover - You're ready to go!

Finally, we recommend applying some light concealer - the right shade depends on your skin tone - just under the arch of your eyebrows to get a perfect finish. You can also apply some highlighter, strobe-style, over the outer arch of the brows.
