How to: Bohemian side braid

  1. Visualize the look: it will be a bohemian braid on one side which continues as a fishtail side braid for the all length of your hair. Look at the picture
  2. Brush your hair thoroughly. You can apply some dry shampoo at this point if you want more volume
  3. Put your hair on the side where you want to have the braid.
  4. Put all of you hair on that side so that there are no hair left at the back and on the other side
  5. Take a small section of hair from the top of your head on the braid side, about a inch and a half, and make a regular French braid on your side. For those of you who do not know what a French braid is: divide the small section you have taken into 3 sections, put each of your side section over the middle section and under the opposite one. You have to take new sections of hair for every braid knot. Take hair from slightly below and backward from the previous section, but not from the very back.
  6. When you reach the ear level, you will transform your French braid into a fishtail braid. You need to separate all of your hair into 2 sections and then grab some hair from the back of the right section and bring it around and over the right section, so that it joins the left section. How to: Bohemian twist braid

  1. Visualize the look: it will be 2 side twisted braids that meat either in the middle back of your hair, or on one side. Look at the picture
