Steps to follow:
1

You can make the lip balm to your taste. Choose your favourite flavour to feel on the lips and the colour of the balm. Just remember that you will need oil and butter, so look for them in supermarkets or cosmetics stores with the aroma, taste and colour you like.

2

Next we suggest which oils and fats are most suitable to make your lip balm from. Choose jojoba oil, hemp oil, almond oil or grape oil. For the butter we recommend you use cocoa, coconut or mango.

3

Take a small bowl and add a small teaspoon of your chosen oil. Then add half a tablespoon of butter.

4

If you have bee's wax at home, grate it and add a couple of teaspoons of the flakes to the mix. If you have chopped wax at home measure two tablespoons of this and add them to a glass measuring cup.

In another bowl heat about 5 cl of water. When you see that the water is about to boil reduce the heat to lowest and place the glass measuring cup into the container with water.

You will notice that the wax begins to melt, at this point stir it with a wooden spoon or similar object. As you do this slowly pour in the mixture of oil and butter into the wax and continue stirring until a smooth mixture is obtained. Then turn off the heat and remove the glass measuring cup from the hot water.

7

Add to the mixture a Vitamin E capsule. Should you not have a capsule just add three drops of vitamin E oil to the balsam. By adding this product you will make the balm last longer. You can also add around three drops of flavoured oils or mint or vanilla extracts. Try it to confirm it is to taste, if not add more. Then stir the ingredients well to blended.

8

Finally, pour the mixture into small jars. Cover them and leave to cool. When the mixture solidifies your lip balm will be ready for use. Quick and easy, it works!
