Although pimples are generally created from our body fat, the best remedy to stop them is to use olive oil. The beneficial properties of this product will help you maintain a healthy, clean and fresh face.

Before starting your treatment with this home remedy, we recommend you get extra virgin olive oil. Check the product label and be sure that it does not contain additives, which will ensure that you can use it on any type of skin without suffering major problems.

You should do this treatment daily. It is best to carry it out at night. The amount you need is, more or less, a teaspoon of oil. Apply it gently with your fingers massaging the face with circular movements. Remember to avoid the eyes.

Make sure you have previously washed your face and hands properly so you don't spread bacteria or your effort will be in vain.

4

Once you've applied all the oil to your face, dip a cloth in hot water, squeeze out excess water and place it on your face for a few minutes. Then, grab a clean towel and dab the skin to finish removing the excess oil.

5

Let your skin air dry. If there is a little oil left over, you can apply a small amount more to moisturize your skin, especially if it has dried out from the hot water.

6

Combine this daily treatment with a weekly one. For the latter, you should pour a tablespoon of oil in a bowl and add a little sugar, a perfect ingredient to exfoliate your face. With clean hands, apply the product to your face and massage it with a circular motion. Focus on the area where you have the highest concentration of pimples.

Olive oil will not only help you fight pimples on your skin, but it can also beat skin problems if you add it to your diet. Cooking your dishes with olive oil is a great idea if you want to avoid the appearance of blackheads and acne.

I like your tip to apply honey to any cuts that result from popping a pimple. I never would’ve thought to use honey. My nephew has very serious acne, so I think he’ll need to see a dermatologist, but I’ll pass along these tips anyways.

Baking soda are more useful for blackheads rather than getting rid of pimples, though it will do no harm if you mix it with only these two ingredients. Take a look at this article for more on how to use baking soda:http://beauty.onehowto.com/article/how-to-remove-blackheads-with-alcohol-and-baking-soda-2508.html
