The classic bun

The easiest and most care-free option for rainy day hairstyles for curly hair is to create a bun at the top of your head or the bottom (depending on which works best for your face shape and type of hair) by tying your hair with a scrunchy, twist the hair to the tip and roll it around the scrunchy. Tie it firmly with a second scrunchy and you're done! You may want to apply a small amount of hairspray to keep any loose ends in order.

If you want to give it a special touch, tie a scarf in a bow around your head or add a headband with an ornament if you like.

Braids

If you have long curly hair you're in luck! A braid will look perfect on you! It doesn't have to be perfect, if you miss some locks of hair it will give you a more casual style. There are so many different braids you can choose from depending on what you like and the time you have to do your hair! You can learn how to fishtail braid and create one braid to the side, in the middle of your hair or even create two normal braids at each side and tie them up with hairpins to create a crown braid effect.

if you have very tight curls, you can even braid one side of your hair or the whole of it into small braids for an afro-look.

The curly hawk

If, on the contrary, you have rather short curly hair, a fashionable option for you is to go for the curly hawk look. For this hairstyle, you will need to divide your hair into three different partings from the front backwards. Get the front strand and tie it backwards, securing it with a hairpin. Take the next strand and make a ponytail in the middle of the head. The last strand you should then divide again. Create a second ponytail with the upper strand and pin the last strand towards the last ponytail. Now you'll only need to comb all of the hair backwards to make it look as if it were one section. Apply some hairspray to secure and you now have a fake Mohawk!

The scarf

No matter if you have long or short curly hair, this is an original way to get your hair looking good on a rainy day. Get your favorite scarf or a colored piece of fabric. If you have longer hair, tie your hair with a ponytail. Wrap the scarf around all of your head and knot it at the top with a bow. It's best if you leave some hair fall on your forehead so you don't look bald and it will give you a more youthful look. You can even create a bouffant at the front for a great vintage look.
