Dry shampoo is the perfect solution for those who get greasy hair often, or women who have had a perm and don't want to wash their hair in the shower too often. This is why the first thing you should know in order to learn how to use dry shampoo correctly is that you should not apply it every single day, and you should pay attention to the tint of the spray, as if you have very dark hair and you use a light tone spray you may end up looking as if you have a bad case of dandruff.

How to Use Dry Shampoo Correctly - Step 1

The first step you should take to apply dry shampoo is to divide your hair into several strands. The number of strands will depend on the thickness of your hair, so divide it into more strands if you have very thick hair.

Once you have done this apply the dry shampoo on each strand following the line of the parting, making sure you spray a small amount of dry shampoo on the root of each strand from a distance of about 9 to 10 inches away.

Once you have finished applying the product, let it be absorbed for one or two minutes and then massage your scalp so it can work more effectively and it can spread on the rest of the hair. Shake your hair for more volume, as this will help your hair have a healthier look and make it seem more lively.

With the help of a clean brush or comb, brush your hair to style it effectively and make sure the spray is evenly distributed on your hair.
