A popular home remedy to hydrate lips is to rub a humid cotton pad with a couple of drops of olive oil, an excellent natural ingredient to repair skin tissue. To boost its effect and have much softer lips, we recommend you prepare a cream base with olive and avocado oil, the perfect formula to fight dry lips. You only need to blend the avocado pulp and add 7 drops of olive oil. When it's ready, spread the mix on your lips and let it make its effect for 20 minutes. This combination is rich in essential fatty acids, which help to lock in moisture and improve skin elasticity, making it an ideal solution for maintaining healthy lips over time.

Honey is not only a natural substance that gives extreme hydration, as it has many antiseptic properties and is therefore a great skin protector for lips. To hydrate lips, you only need to apply a small quantity of honey and leave it for 20 minutes. Before getting rid of the honey with warm water, apply a bit of Vaseline on your lips so they're softer. Honey is also known for its ability to heal minor wounds and soothe irritation, making it an excellent choice for lips that are cracked or sore from environmental stressors.

Another home remedy to hydrate and nourish lips deeply is to prepare a cream with virgin bee wax and almond oil. Both ingredients are important hydrants and softeners for the skin. To do so, warm the bee wax until it melts and then apply a spoonful of almond oil. Wait until the mix is cold and apply it on your dry lips. The combination of bee wax and almond oil not only hydrates but also forms a protective barrier on the lips, preventing further moisture loss and protecting against harsh weather conditions.

Hi Emily, aloe vera acts as a wonderful healer. We recommend you apply it direclty on your lips if you have a plant at home or go to a health food shop where you'll be able to find 100% aloe vera products.
