Steps to follow:

The first step to do glitter roots hair is to prep our hair. Choose a comb with thin end and part your hair. The parting should be absolutely perfect and the thin end of the comb can help you in this job. You can opt for a middle parting or a side parting as per your choice. If you want to keep your hair loose after applying glitter then parting at the front will be enough. But if you want twin buns or any such style then you have to part all the way up to the back. To ensure that you have a perfect parting at the back take the help of someone else. Brush your hair on both sides with a hairbrush to control the strands.

The second step is to ensure that the hairs at the roots are held back tight. To do this, this use hair ties on both sides and make tight pigtails or twin buns or any other style in which the hair on both sides is held firmly. Secure any loose strand with hair pins.

It’s finally time to experiment with the glitter. For the glitter roots hair you can choose any type of glitter, be it of various shapes, colorful or holographic. But try to choose some chunky glitters because fine glitters prove to be abrasive for some scalps. You can use any leftover glitter or just buy a new pack.

Take the plastic container and then squeeze out some hair gel in it. Then put some glitter into it. Mix the glitter and the hair gel with the tinting brush or the paint brush. If you want to increase the glitter's concentration in the mixture then add some more glitter in it and mix it. Keep doing this till you achieve the desired product.

Now that everything is ready, it’s time to apply the glitter. Start with the front and paint all the way till the end of the parting. Apply the mixture on both sides of the parting. Make sure that you apply the glitter no more than an inch away from the parting. Don’t work the glitter too much into the hair. Just apply it on the top layer. This will make it easier to wash it off.

After you finish applying the glitter gel, you can oomph it up a bit more by adding some star sequins or confetti to it. After all there is no such thing as too much glitter. That’s it. Your glitter roots hair can now rock the world.
