One of the best tricks to fix dried nail polish is to add two or three droplets of acetone to the bottle. Perform this step carefully without overdoing it to avoid getting the opposite effect and the lacquer becoming too liquid. Close the bottle, shake vigorously, test if it works and add a little more acetone if necessary.
