You'll need:

  • Shower cap
  • Towel
Steps to follow:
1

There are many beauty tricks with olive oil you can try to boost your cosmetic health.

To begin with, pour 120ml olive oil into a microwaveable container. Heat in the microwave for 20 seconds or until hot, if it's not hot yet, heat for another 20 seconds.

2

Before applying the oil on your hair it's recommendable to place an old towel over your shoulders to protect your clothing while you apply the product. Put a small amount of olive oil in the palm of your hand and massage through the hair. If you have a dry scalp, massage the scalp a little too.

3

If you have oily hair, apply to the hair but avoid the first inch or so of hair closest to the scalp or the production of grease could increase. Repeat the massage process bit by bit until the hair is completely covered with olive oil.

4

When you have the olive oil on your hair, gather it all and cover with a plastic cap, this will help your scalp's pores open thanks to the heat generated in the cap.

Relax for at least 30 minutes while letting the olive oil act on your hair.

5

Wash with a mild shampoo to remove olive oil in your hair. Apply your regular shampoo and rinse hair with warm water. You will notice that the olive oil treatment leaves your hair more soft, manageable and shiny.

6

Apart from olive oil masks, there are other natural remedies that will help your hair's health and make it look shiny and hydrated. Depending on the kind of hair you have you should try one mask or another, as it's not the same to have dyed hair than brittle hair.
