Face masks for dry skin: avocado, vitamin E and almond oil

When it comes to moisturising the skin, stimulating flexibility and fighting facial wrinkles, avocado is a very effective natural ingredient. Thanks to these as well as its high content of folic acid and vitamins, it is excellent for nourishing and caring for dry skin. For this, we suggest a very simple avocado-based homemade mask, which also includes the benefits of vitamin E and almond oil.

To prepare, mix half an avocado with 2 tablespoons of almond oil and the contents of 2 vitamin E capsules in a bowl, and stir until you have a smooth paste. Then apply the mixture all over your face and leave on for 30 minutes.

Face masks for dry skin: egg and honey

Another of the best homemade masks for dry skin is made from egg and honey. Both ingredients together get rid of skin dehydration, and as a result, scaly and chapped areas of skin.

You just need to mix the egg yolk with a tablespoon of honey and add, if you like, a little rosewater as it is an ideal ingredient to soften skin. When you get a smooth paste, spread it over your face and neck. After about 20 minutes, remove with warm water and voila!

Face masks for dry skin: chocolate

Although it may seem incredible, a face mask with chocolate as its main ingredient is an excellent alternative to treat dry skin and moisturise naturally. Its nutrients make it a powerful skin moisturiser, improving its condition and leaving it radiant.

To prepare this homemade mask for dry skin you will need a small bar of sugar-free pure chocolate and a few drops of almond oil or olive oil. First, melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and add two tablespoons of the oil you prefer. Once the chocolate has melted into a creamy mixture, remove from the heat and wait for it to cool before applying to the areas of the face that require more hydration. Leave it on your skin for 20 minutes, just long enough to start to feel the effects of the nutritional properties of chocolate.
