Steps to follow:

1

Exfoliating your skin frequently is important because this removes the dead cells and makes our hands look soft and full of life. It is also a great thing to do if you have any spots or marks because it helps hide them.

2

There are many natural products that can be used to exfoliate your skin. One of the most effective is oats. To make an exfoliating hand cream with oats, mix one tablespoon of oats with your hand moisturiser, wait 5 minutes so the flakes soften a bit and then apply it to your hands by rubbing it on gently. Let stand for at least 3 minutes and then wash it off and you'll immediately notice the difference. This ingredient is also great for making various face masks that will help give you a flawless complexion.

Sugar is another ingredient that can do no wrong. When combined with natural yogurt, results in a mixture that will help exfoliate and soften your hands. Mix together half a teaspoon of sugar, plain yogurt and some moisturising lotion. Apply it to your skin by rubbing it on gently and leaving it on for 5 minutes, then remove it with cold water. You'll notice how your skin is deeply hydrated.

You can also mix honey with sugar. Take a tablespoon of honey, sugar and half a teaspoon of your moisturiser. Mix and apply for 5 minutes, when you wash it off, your hands will be smooth and rejuvenated.

You can also use commercial body scrubs, but these come packaged in plastic and are less natural than the ones you can make at home. Changes in the climate and daily tasks can damage the skin of your hands and make them dry.

6

We advise you to make one of these homemade hand scrubs once a week. Take care of your hands, your skin will thank you.

If you would like to keep other parts of your body hydrated, you can also make other homemade scrubs. Here at OneHowTo we give you some ideas to make scrubs with coffee, papaya and lemon and sugar.
