How To Make A Hair Mask With Banana

Honey and banana are more than nutritive food to make shakes or guacamole, they're also essential ingredients for organic hair masks. A hair mask is a deep conditioning treatment that, if applied correctly, it can allow all its ingredients to penetrate your hair's roots. Also known as hair packages, these intensive weekly treatments hydrate dry hair, add shine to normal hair and nourish damaged hair. Bananas and honey attract and retain humidity. These are low-cost and natural ingredients, which is why you can create your own conditioning treatments at home, in an easy and inexpensive way. Next, we'd like to tell you how to make a hair mask with banana and honey.

You'll need:
  • Bowl
  • Shower cap
  • 1 glass of water
  • 1 / 2 glass of milk
  • 1 glass of dry petal roses
  • 2 mature bananas
  • 2 spoonfuls of honey
  • 2 spoonfuls of almond oil
  • Containers
  • Comb
Steps to follow:
1

To prepare this natural banana hair mask you'll need the following ingredients:

  • 1 mature banana. If you have very long hair add an extra one.
  • 1 spoonful honey
  • Half a glass of milk
  • 1 spoonful olive or almond oil to increase wetting.

Mix the banana, honey and oil in a blender or a food processor. Next, add the milk little by little until you get a creamy paste, similar to conditioner. Your banana hair mask is already perfect to be used!

2

Chop two mature bananas and combine them with 1 spoonful of honey and 1 spoonful of almond oil in a mixer. Mix on high and then pour the liquid in a bowl. Slowly add the fresh rose water, slowly add the banana paste.

3

Mix until you get a creamy consistence, and transfer the mix into an expressible container, such as an old conditioner bottle.

4

Apply the mask on your dry hair. Massage your scalp for a couple of minutes to stimulate circulation and use a fine-toothed comb to cover each lock. Make sure the comb has wide teeth so you can effectively spread the mask all over your hair.

Put a clip in your hair or tie it, and then cover it with a shower cap.

Dampen a towel with warm water, take off the excess water, and wrap it around your head. Wait for 30 minutes and then rinse well.

5

After rinsing off this banana hair mask with lukewarm water, wash your hair as you would normally. You can apply this mask at least once a week.
