How to get rid of pimples with grapes

A doctor's recommendation will be required for severe acne treatment. Often your spot or pimple problem is something mild which won't require the harder treatments such as benzoyl peroxide or antibiotics. This is because acne in general is something which happens to the majority of us at some point. In particular during adolescence, breakouts are common.

Using natural remedies and the inherent properties of fruit and vegetables can be a way to make sure the chances of a spot breakout are reduced. Grapes might be one way you can really improve skin treatment. You can use it externally (i.e. directly on your skin) as an effective moisturizer.

Grapes contain a chemical compound known as resveratrol. Some believe that this compound can be useful in treating skin and help it recover from the effects of dryness in the environment.

Getting rid of a spot using grapes is not as simple as squeezing a grape juice box onto our face. In order to get rid of a spot using grapes, you need to make a mask or paste out of their pulp. Then you can apply it onto the area where you already have spots. Leave it to act on your skin for about 20 minutes and then rinse off with plenty of water. The mask will help to make your spots disappear and also prevent new ones from appearing. Also, it smells quite nice!

Do be aware that there is little scientific evidence to support the view that resveratrol has an effective impact on the skin. Making this grape face mask, however, will not damage your skin if used in the above way.

How to get rid of blemishes with carrots

Do you remember hearing that carrots are very good for your eyes? A lack of vitamin A can lead to deteriorating eyesight, so carrots can be beneficial. However, they won't give you super-vision, they'll just help maintain eye health.

This does not mean there are not plenty of incredible health benefits found in carrots. One of these can be used to improve your skin, clear pores and help fight against outbreaks of spots and blackheads. It also can help improve the after effects of eczema and sunburn.

To find out the health benefits of carrot on your skin, make a face mask as you may have with grapes, i.e. blend into a pulp and apply to your skin. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse of with plenty of water and a dermatologically safe face cloth. This will help keep your pores clean and your skin supple.

NOTE: carotene in carrots gives them their orange pigment. This can be great if you have dark skin and can help give the effect of a tanned complexion. However, if you have fair skin, we do not recommend a carrot face mask. It may cause your skin to look a little orange.

How to get rid of spots using cabbage

Cabbage may be a little surprising to find on this list, but their rich source of vitamins C and K prove it to be greatly beneficial to your health. It has a particularly long track record of being used in herbal medicine. It was used to treat trench foot during WWI and has been noted to help with skin abscesses and ulcers.

This is why cabbage can be great for helping with blocked pores, spots and pimples. It is also very easy to use; pick some fresh leaves and crush them with a little olive oil. Then apply the paste on your skin. Leave to act, rinse off, and done!

Similar to carrot, purple/red cabbage has a very dark pigment which equally can stain fair skin. Stick to white or lighter green cabbage to make sure you are spot free, but still maintain your normal skin color. You can mix in some natural yogurt if you want to lighten the effect, but it may also dilute benefits of getting rid of a spot.

The results found that the skin was able to absorb and retain more moisture, but also helped with skin cell growth. This is important as this can really help fight against spots and acne. It also showed benefits in protecting against UV light.

It is very easy to use: blend the papaya fruit to get its juice. Apply the juice onto the infected area for about 15 minutes and then rinse off with cold water. Or, learn how to make a papaya scrub that you can use on your face and body too.
