Steps to follow:

1

At first, collect a bunch of mehndi leaves from the mehndi plant. Wash them and let them dry in sunlight. When the leaves dry and become crisp, grind these leaves into very fine powder. Now sieve this powder twice or thrice so that no big piece remains in the powder.

If you are buying mehndi powder from the market then make sure that they have a greenish-brown tint.

Essential oil means which oil we should use? Some people use bhindi water to get long thin thread in Mehendi, also they put some "kath" in that to get dark colour Mehendi, need to know your suggestion about this.

You can use any essential oil you prefer, according to your preferences or what you have. The importance in this ingredient is its density.
