When the mixture of oat infusion and lye has cooled, gradually add the olive oil and cocoa butter. Do not forget to stir the mixture always in the same direction until you feel it thickens. Leave to stand for 15 minutes or so, and stir again. Repeat this last step until the mixture has a texture similar to mayonnaise.

For the oatmeal soap to have a pleasant aroma, add 10 drops of essential lemon oil and stir the mixture again until a smooth solution is reached. If you prefer using another fragrance you can choose a different essential oil.
